You can use the WLR-5001 as a VPN client to access an external VPN server or you can con figure the router as a VPN server to be able to access your home network from any location over the Internet. Sitecom Cloud Security is integrated in the router and protects all the devices in your network against cybercrime. The router provides wireless speed of up to 300 Mbps. It supports a wired speed up to 1000Mbps. This router simultaneously uses the standard 2.4 GHz frequency and the less congested 5GHz frequency for optimal wireless performance of heavy applications. The router is "out of the box" secured with the WPA2 security protocol. You can create a secure home network with just one push of the WPS (One Push Set-up) button.
